About Me

My name is Maya Lavin, I  was born and raised in El Paso Texas. I earned my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theatre with a concentration in Stage and Theatre Management from the University of Texas at El Paso. 

I began learning about the theatrical world from a very young age. I would go to many christmas shows as a child and always paid extra attention to the people behind the scenes. When I was 15 years old I did a summer program with a local high school and there began my theatre journey. I am extremely passionate about the work I do and want to use this work to inspire our younger generations. I hope to one day take that passion to work in children's theatre and show our youth that there is a whole world of creativity to explore. 

When I'm not working on a show you can find me hanging out with my sister or traveling. I love to see the world, meet new people and experience what life has to offer!
